Devarsh Foundation Hosts Empowerment Conference in Hyderabad and Announces New Initiative for Adolescent Girls

Hyderabad, September 28, 2025 — The Devarsh Foundation held a milestone conference today at the Trident Hyderabad, bringing together distinguished guests and global changemakers to announce a transformative initiative for adolescent girls from underserved communities.

The event was graced by Sri Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary of Telangana, who commended the Foundation’s continued commitment to community development and women’s empowerment. In his address, he emphasized the state’s focus on strengthening education and skill development opportunities for young women, noting that collaborative efforts such as these play a vital role in shaping a more equitable future.

A major highlight of the conference was the presence of Julia Morley, Chairwoman and CEO of Miss World, along with Miss World and the Continental Queens, whose participation underscored a powerful global endorsement for the Foundation’s mission.

New Initiative to Support 50 Adolescent Girls

In collaboration with the Miss World organization, the Devarsh Foundation announced a comprehensive new program aimed at supporting 50 adolescent girls from the Moosapet slum area who have dropped out of school. The initiative seeks to provide sustained mentorship, academic guidance, personal development training, and long-term support to empower each girl to pursue her dreams and build a brighter future.

Speaking at the event, Julia Morley shared insights from similar efforts undertaken by the Miss World team. She highlighted a slum school near Bombay that continues to receive international support, drawing parallels to the Moosapet initiative.“In the same way,” she said, “we are committed to supporting the Devarsh Foundation to promote better education and create life-changing opportunities for young girls. When we work together, we can transform not just individual futures, but entire communities.”

Global Voices, Local Impact

The presence of Miss World and the Continental Queens brought global visibility to the cause. Their interactions with attendees and participation reflected a shared message of hope, resilience, and empowerment.

The conference concluded with a renewed pledge from all partners to continue investing in education, dignity, and opportunity for young women—ensuring that every girl, regardless of her circumstances, has the chance to rise.

The Devarsh Foundation’s initiative marks a significant step toward inclusive development, reinforcing the belief that meaningful change begins when global support and local action come together.
