What We Do
The Devarsh Foundation aims to identify and support vulnerable communities by understanding their key needs and designing suitable programmes to focus on education, healthcare, nutrition, green initiatives, livelihood promotion, and social protection.
Special attention will be given to improving the wellbeing of young children, particularly girls.

The Devarsh Foundation is a young charity and has begun its work in the slum areas of Moosapet, Hyderabad.

Aims of the Foundation

Identify and Support Vulnerable Communities
To identify areas with a high concentration of vulnerable populations and assess their key needs and priorities through direct engagement and research.

Develop and Implement Community-Based Programmes
To design and implement effective programmes that address the pressing needs of identified communities, focusing on sustainable and inclusive development.

Promote Education and Child Welfare
To support access to quality education, particularly for young children and girls, through learning support, awareness programmes, and capacity-building initiatives.

Enhance Healthcare and Nutrition
To improve the health and nutritional status of community members by promoting preventive healthcare, maternal and child health, and nutrition awareness.

Facilitate Livelihood Promotion
To create and strengthen livelihood opportunities for vulnerable individuals and families through skills development, vocational training, and income-generating initiatives.

Strengthen Social Protection
To promote social inclusion and protection measures for marginalized groups, ensuring equal access to basic rights, resources, and opportunities.

Pilot and Scale Model Interventions
To initiate the Foundation’s work in the slum areas of Moosapet, Hyderabad, as a pilot project, and upon successful implementation, replicate and expand the model to other needy areas.
